How to Clean and Store Your Attachments

Clean heads work better and last longer. Here is a quick routine for each type.

Microfiber dusters and fan dusters

Remove the cover and machine-wash it on a gentle cycle without fabric softener, which clogs the fibers. Air-dry before putting it back on.

Cobweb dusters

Shake outdoors, then rinse under running water. Stand the duster upright to dry so it keeps its round shape.

Brushes and squeegees

Rinse off dirt and cleaner after every use. Check squeegee blades for nicks, since a damaged blade leaves streaks.

Storage

Store heads dry, out of direct sunlight, and hang dusters so the fibers do not flatten.
